Slideshow freezes up in the middle.

I created my first slideshow, but whenever I run it it freezes up 2/3 of the way through. No music, no sound. The place it freezes up is right where one song ends and another should begin. What should I do?

Hi,
Almost always when there is a freeze-up, it's because of memory. One thing to check is how large the picture files are that you are using. For example, pictures taken directly from a camera or scanner can have very large resolutions and use up a lot of memory very quickly. Since many screen resolutions are around 800x600, you may want to see if your pictures are much bigger than that. If they are, you could use a program like Photoshop to bring them down in size. ESSC will tell you how big they are down in the the file information area in the lower part of the interface. Let me know if that turns up any clues. Thanks--
Brad
