I'm puzzled by having a zipped file come out to over 5 MB, when there are only ten slides totaling about 1 MB. Am I doing something wrong? And: what will my recipient need to do and to have in order to unzip and view an emailed and zipped slideshow? Thanks.

Hi, It sounds like you've probably zipped the show correctly. In addition to your pictures and sounds, a slide show player is included in the zip file. This way, the recipient does not need to have any slide show software installed to view your show. They just unzip it and click the startslideshow file and it plays automatically. The only software they would need on their computer is something to unzip a file with... something like winzip, or in the case of recent versions of Windows, unzipping capabilities come with Windows already. In XP for example, you can right-click a zip file and select extract.
thanks
