program update to 1.12
      #17 - 11/30/02 08:58 PM

Hi All,
1.12 is the latest update to the program. If you happened to download 1.11, please be sure to get 1.12 because there was a bug introduced into 1.11 that kept captions from working on CD. 1.12 corrects a rare but potential bug when using the drag and drop features that caused an error. Now, you can also control the flow of the slide show with the arrow keys if you have the control panel hidden. Left is back, Right is forward, Up is play, and Down is pause. Thanks to everyone who has emailed so we can make this program virtually bug-free!

i have version 1.03. exactly how do you update this program? i can't find product updates of any kind on the website. do i have to download the current site exe file and overwrite my version to update? if so, then will my old registration number work? thanks in advance for any info.

Hi,
Yes, you can just download the slideshowsetup.exe file from the website and overwrite what you have installed. Your registration number will work fine with the update. There were some small bug fixes with the update involving the cd-rom feature and the drag and drop editing. You can also control the slide show playback with the arrow keys when the control panel is hidden now. Thanks--
Brad

Hi,
I've been trying to get this to happen for me, but I can't seem to get this problem to occur. I haven't heard of it before, so I'm not sure exactly what is happening to make the captions go away. It must have something to do with the cd burning process if it does work before hand though. One thing we could try, is you could email me the index.sld file that is on your CD, and I could examine it to see if anything looks out of place. You could email it to support@programmingart.com as an attachment if you get a chance.

thanks,
Brad
