I have only been storing Windows Media WMA files. I will have to convert WMA to WAV or MP3 for ESSC. The family members I will send a CD to are not very computer savvy. If I send a CD using WAV or MP3 will they be able to hear music using the standard Windows Media Player? Also, what is a good reliable low cost converter that I could download?

Hi, ESSC will be able to play the mp3 and wav files on it's own without Media Player. I'm sure media player would play them as well if you opened them directly from it. There is a pretty nice program called CDEX that helps you make mp3's. It's freeware and can be found at download.com.
thanks, Brad
