I am a new user of ESSC and would like to know how to prepare extra slides, like a title slide. I have vacation pictures from various cities and would like to make a slide for each city to be in front of the pictures for that city and maybe try to put music with each group, like beach sounds? Thank you.

Hi, If you make a graphic and save it in one of the supported formats, you can just add your title slide to the slide show. The program can read jpg, gif, tif, pict. You would need to use a graphics program to make this file... something like PhotoShop would work nicely. If you don't have PhotoShop, you could even use something as simple as the free Windows paint program. Hope that helps!

I'm a newbie here, and a rookie with the program, but here's an example: My son has a World Atlas program in which he saved maps of our trip with virtual "map pins" marking each place we stayed. I wanted to use the maps in my slide show. First I opened a blank Paint document. Then, in the Atlas program, I displayed the map image I wanted, then did Alt Print Screen to copy the image to the clipboard. Then pasted the image to Paint, edited it, and saved as a .jpg file. Not very sophisticated, but it worked for me.
