Local Shared Objects tutorial "Problem"
      #485 - 10/20/04 06:01 PM

Hi, I just discovered this site and enjoyed a lot the free local shared objects in flash tutorial, but i got a lot of time to figure out how to solve the "problem" to make it work.

The thing is that the tutorial repeats the colorchange buttons code instance name every line: "colorButton1.onRelease = function ()..."

Also, when testing the movie appears an UNDEFINED in the space where should appear the number of times i´ve changed the colors. The thing was that I was using MX 2004 instead of MX, and when you export the movie it does with the Flash Player Version 7 instead of 6 or 6 r25.

Now, how can I adjust the code to the version 7 player?

Thanx in advance and sorry for my bad english

Hmm, that's odd. Did you try downloading the working fla and just exporting it for Flash Player 7? I currently do not have Flash MX 2004 available so I can't test. I don't see a reason why this would change in 7. Let me know if my version of the fla is broken in 7 and I will see what I can do. Thanks!
