Free test error

I tried out the free test program on my Mac. The test required me to put two spaces between sentences. While this is correct for typing on a typewriter, it is incorrect for a computer. Is this a bug in the test or is this by design? I am looking for a good keyboarding program for my 11 year old son, but I don't want him to learn the bad habit of two spaces between sentences.

Hi,
Thanks for the input. The 2 spaces is by design. In the full version of Key Advantage Typing, being able to choose between 1 and 2 spaces is a preference each user may set.
