I have recently started to get a window coming up saying "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive." I'm given a choice of "Cancel, Try Again, Continue". I usually cancel, and ESSC comes up no problem. It is more a nuisance than anything else. Any Ideas?

I talked to someone before that had this problem and they downloaded a fresh copy of the program and then reinstalled the software and it went away. Perhaps it is caused by a corrupt file.

How does one get a fresh copy. Don't see anything on Programming Art home page.

Tried the new download. Same result.
Is it possible I may have the incorrect WinXP services settings for this. Tried everything else.

Hi, I did some searching to see if anyone else has been seeing this, and it appears that many programs are seeing this message. Do you have a zip drive or removable drive or card reader attached to your computer? It sounds like these types of devices can cause this error for some reason... especially if there is a glitch with any of them. I saw some posts where people have been disabling these devices or using the "safely remove hardware" option in Windows to get rid of these messages.
