Just downloaded and tested ESSC . It seems to be finally the tool I have searched. I made a test cd by my Mac (OSX10.3.9) for a PC. But when I tested cd in PC, it did not launch automatically as I thought it should ,but I had to go to My Computer , find a cd-icon and click. Is this the way ,or is there something I have not found out.( After clicking it did work correct.) Holle

Hi Holle, The Windows side should autorun. One thing to check is that the Windows files on the CD are not buried in a sub-folder. For example, you should see 3 files and 7 folders immediately when you browse files on the CD. One of those files is the "autorun.inf" file which must be found at the root of the CD in order for the autorun to happen. It's probably also worth noting for anyone that may not know this, that Mac OS X does not support autorun CD's for security reasons, so a Mac OS X slide show will never autorun.

Thanks for the quick reply. I checked it once again. I have three files : autorun.inf - StartSlideShow.exe and licence.text. All these are on cd , not in any folder. Then seven folders : backgrounds, help , helpers , images, prefs , sounds , images. I thought if there is something in Windows (XP Prof) preferences ,but the same machine starts automatically an other cd ? I will try again and check everything . Holle
