protecting photos on slide show

my wife is a photographer and uses slide show for "proof discs"
any way to protect the photos. i.e. no copying or printing from the cd rom.

Hi,
Not really. The pictures in the slide shows are stored externally, so they would be in plain view of people to which they are sent (in the images folder on the prepared CD-ROM). If the purpose is for a client to view a proof, I might suggest that she uses a size (smaller than normal) and quality (dithered or saved for web) which would make the image not useful if it were stolen or used without permission. She may even consider a small watermark or copyright which could be added with a program like PhotoShop depending upon the value of the pictures. Hope that helps!
