My timing is completely off when I burned my slide show to a CD for my presentation. Any ideas why?

The timing option can be changed from the Advanced menu. This can help if you're trying to sync up certain aspects of your show. The reason for potential timing problems is because of the increased time it takes to read files from CD as opposed to your hard disk. Reading from CD is much slower. Changing the timing option can help. The other thing that can have a huge impact is the size of the photos used. Pictures taken directly from a digital camera or scanner can have huge resolutions and be many megabytes on disk. Using a program like Photoshop or Photoshop Elements to size your pictures down will make the show run more efficiently and decrease load times. A typical screen resolution is 1024X768, so you probably want your pictures to be as close to your screen as possible. If they are larger, then they are taking up more space than they need to for your show.
