More Than One Slide Show on A CD
      #46 - 12/29/02 12:36 PM

I am putting more than one slide show on a Cd. How do I create an autorun feature that prompts the user to select a slide show instead of the user having to navigatge to each slide show directory and run the exe file?

Hi,
We'll try to put something together tonight. I'll let you know what we come up with. Thanks--

Hi,
There is a new companion program we made that should help you out. You can download it here and try it out. We'll make an announcement on the site in a few days once we completely finish testing.

Any feedback you may have will be appreciated. Thanks--

Hi,
I have tried your launcher and it works good to run one show but I would like to have the launcher come back up after you close that slide show so you can pick another show.
Another thing I would like in the slide show is to have the option for the control panel to auto hide and to have some options for the control panel such as the size the placement and options to not have the file and background on the menu bar.
Larry

Hi,
I just posted a slightly modified launcher that doesn't automatically close after launching a show. You can find it at http://www.programmingart.com/products/slideshow/beta/launcher2.zip

Also, please check the "Hide Controls" option checkbox in the main interface and see if that works for you.

Thanks--
Brad

Hi - I too am interested in more than 1 SS/CD. However, when I clicked on either version to download, I got error 404 (I think), File Not Found.

Could you please point me to where I can get it? I understand it's 'beta' code and not 'officially' supported.

Thanks.
