Delaying Audio between slides.
      #559 - 05/29/05 04:13 PM

The audio for the next slide begins playing before the slide appears on screen, is there anyway I can delay the audio until the following slide is fully displayed.

Each Chart has a specific audio track.

I've timed my "charts", (I'm not using pictures) to be displayed for the time length of the audio, but if I shorten the display time of the chart, it shorten the audio time, not allowing the audio to finish.

At the present, I'm only testing the program to see if it meets my expectations, so far, it has, my slideshows will be used for educational purposes.

Thanks
Sim

I don't think there is a specific setting to say when the sound effect for a picture should start, however, if the pictures seem to be really "running behind", it could be because of their size. If you have large picture files (like 1600x1200 resolution or higher, or bigger than 500KB or so), you'll probably want to size them down because they take up so much of your system's resources. If the processor is working really hard or you're running low on memory because of the picture sizes, it could cause the display of the pictures to fall behind a little like this.
