I purchased and downloaded the latest version of Easy Slide Creator and created a presentation for an important client in both Windows and Mac on the same CD. Unfortunately, when it came to the presentation, my client only had Windows and could not open the folder containing the 16MB presentation. His computer read 'NO DATA IN FOLDER", DISK FULL". He even tried it on another computer with an earlier version of Windows. No luck. What do you have to do specifically to get a Windows and a Mac slide show to work on the same CD? When I looked at the CD on my G-4 Mac, the presentation opened perfectly in MAC . . so no CD problem I followed the instructions exactly as indicated. Please be very specific. Thank you.

Hi, In order to put a Windows and Mac slide show on the same CD, you would need to do the following.
1) From a Mac, create and save a slide show. 2) Prepare slide show for CD-Rom, which will have you save a folder on your hard drive 3) Prepare slide show for Windows CD-Rom, which will also have you save another folder on your hard drive 4) In order to burn the contents of both of these folders to a CD, you must use a CD burning program that supports a "custom hybrid format". Toast for the Mac is one example of a program that handles this quite well. 5) Create a temporary Mac partition and copy the contents of the first folder to it. (there is a program in Mac OS X called disk utility that will do this for you) 6) Point your CD burning software's Mac side of the hybrid to this temporary partition. 7) Drag and drop the prepared slide show files for Windows on the other half of the hybrid CD. 8) burn the CD
At this point, you will have a CD that when put in a Mac, only the Mac files will appear, and in Windows, only the Windows files will appear.
If you run Toast, the Toast manual may also be helpful if you look up the "custom hybrid" format. Hope that helps!

For someone that does not have access to a mac, is there some interface program, emulator or some such, that can be used to create a slide show that can be viewed on either a mac or pc?
From your statement, it looks as if not. Just downloaded the trial a few minutes ago in hopes I could make my slide shows available to my mac friends that visit my website.
Thanks, Harold

Hi, Yes, the Mac slide shows must be created with a Mac. We've received a number of requests to make a utility that could convert a Windows slide show to a Mac one, so we will try to work on that soon. Thanks--
