On this screen, you may create a new user of Key Advantage Typing™. First, type the name you would like to use in the box at the top of the screen. The name you choose may only consist of letters, numbers, spaces, and the dash and underscore characters. Also, be sure to select a name that hasn't already been chosen by another user. The other decision you must make at this point is to choose which type of keyboard you plan on using. You can learn more about the QWERTY and Dvorak keyboards by clicking their respective 'Learn More' buttons. Most people will choose QWERTY simply because it is the most common and it is most likely the keyboard that came with your computer. Dvorak keyboards are proven to be more comfortable and efficient, but since they are rare, you probably won't choose Dvorak unless you know for sure that's what you want. To begin Key Advantage Typing™ using a QWERTY keyboard, click the 'I Choose Traditional QWERTY Typing' button. To begin Key Advantage Typing™ using a Dvorak keyboard, click the 'I Choose Dvorak Typing' button. Clicking the 'Back' button will return you to the 'User Page'. < Previous | Next > |
