 |
Preview Window
The preview window is located in the upper-left hand corner
of the interface. This window allows you to preview samples
of music or pictures. To do so, click on any item located in
your playlist. Pictures will appear instantly, while music files
display a "play" button. To sample your music files, simply
click the "play" button. After you have finshed listening to
your music sample, click the "stop" button. The "stop" button
will appear only while your music is playing.
|
 |
Options Area
The set of options in the upper right portion of the interface
can be used to further customize your slide show’s playback
and appearance.
|
 |
Set All Pictures To This Time
This option enables you to quickly change the tempo of your
slide show by adjusting how long each picture will be visible
in the show. Adjust the time to your liking by clicking the
up arrow to add more time or the down arrow to reduce the amount
of time. Then, click the Set button. Easy Slide Show Creator™
will ask you to confirm the time you have selected. Click "yes"
and all the pictures in your playlist will be set to the display
time you specified.
|
 |
Scale Pictures To Fit
This option keeps pictures from displaying beyond your physical
screen size. Large images will automatically shrink to fit your
selected resolution. We recommend that this feature be left
on in most cases for optimal picture viewing.
|
 |
Fade
Fade enables a fade transition between pictures
in your slide show. If you are experiencing slowness in playback,
you can disable this feature to speed things up.
|
 |
Loop
Loop will make your slide show loop to the beginning
once the end is reached, resulting in a slide show that can
be presented continuously without interruption.
|
 |
Hide Controls
If this option is selected, the playback controls will be hidden
when you start your slide show. You can also hide the playback
controls manually once the slide show has started playing. The
playback controls will reappear if you click anywhere during
the playback of your slide show.
|
 |
Exit When Done
With this option selected, Easy Slide Show Creator will exit
after your slideshow has finished, as long as you have "Loop" disabled.
|
 |
Pictures Random
With this option selected, Easy Slide Show Creator will
randomly display the picture files in your playlist, instead
of following the numbered order of the playlist.

Using the Picture Caption features of Easy Slide Show Creator
allows you to add a caption to any of the pictures in your slide
show. Simply click on a picture file in your playlist, and enter
a caption directly into the Picture Caption box by clicking
your mouse in it and typing. You can adjust the text size and
color of your caption by clicking on the text size and color
drop down menus at the bottom of the Picture Caption Area.
NOTE: The size of your caption will not
update in the preview window, but when you view your slide show
using the "Start My Slide Show" button, the selected size will
be used.
|
 |
Sound Effect
You can add a sound effect [like speech!] to any picture in
your slide show by selecting a picture in your playlist, and
clicking the Folder button to browse and select
a sound file on your computer. A sound effect file is independent
of any music files you may have already chosen to play in the
background. Easy Slide Show Creator will play that sound
file whenever the picture is displayed in your slide show. If
youd like to remove the sound file associated with a picture,
just select the picture in your playlist and click on the Garbage
Can button next to the sound effect file name.
|
 |
Playing Time
You can adjust the playing time on each individual picture in
your slide show by using the Playing Time controls. Click on
a picture in your playlist and adjust the playing time by clicking
on the up or down arrows until your desired time is displayed.
Easy Slide Show Creator will show that picture for the
displayed amount of time.
|

or music file you select in your playlist. Click on the folder
next to your files path to replace that file with a new
picture or music file. The File Size field will show you how
big your picture or music file is in kilobytes. The Width and
Height fields will show you how big your picture files are in
pixels.

saved your file before you try to play your slide show, Easy
