STEP 1. Create a basic slide show.
Follow steps 1-5 of the "Creating a Basic Slide Show" section
above, or open an existing slide show.
|
 |
STEP 2. Select a picture and add
your caption. Click on the "Pictures" tab to view the picture
playlist. To apply a caption to a picture, you need to select
it by clicking the picture in the playlist. Now click somewhere
in the area titled "Picture Caption" and begin typing. Your
text will appear in the window as you type.
|
 |
STEP 3. Change caption size and
color. To change the size of the text in your caption, click
on the little number button underneath the caption window. A
drop down list will appear with different values, just select
one to change your caption size. To change the caption color,
click on the colored box in the lower right corner of the caption
window, and select a new color from the drop down menu.
NOTE: The size of your caption will not
update in the preview window. When you view your slide show
using the "Start My Slide Show" button, the selected size will
be used.
|
 |
STEP 4. Repeat for all pictures
that need captions. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you have the
desired number of captioned pictures. Pictures with captions
already attached will have a small cartoon bubble caption indicator
icon next to the picture file name in the playlist.
|
 |
STEP 5. Save and play your slide
show. Click on the "Save Show" button. If you haven't already
done so, pick a name and select a location on your hard drive
for your slide show file. When you click "Start My Slide Show",
pictures that have captions applied will display with their
caption in the slide show as it plays.
